Mount Agung’s summit at sunrise. Hiked all night to get this shot. It took me 4 hours to reach the summit after a terrible start, in which I thought I would not make it. After deciding to do it I was able to go slowly but surely to the top.
It was freezing on the summit, around 4ºC in a land where 30ºC is the norm, it was cold. Luckily I had my leather jacket with me.
Mount Agung is a sacred volcano in Bali, on it’s slopes lies Besaki temple, the mother temple of for Balinese Hinduism.
